North Tonawanda Recreation Department Invites Local Youth to Experience Buffalo Bisons Baseball

NORTH TONAWANDA, NY –The North Tonawanda Recreation Department is excited to announce a special outing for local students, offering a supervised trip to catch the Buffalo Bisons in action this summer. Kids going into grades 4 through 12 in the upcoming 2025-2026 school year are invited to "take me out to the ballgame" on Tuesday, August 20th.

This all-inclusive baseball experience promises a day of fun and camaraderie for just $40 per child. The package ensures a hassle-free trip for participants and peace of mind for parents, covering:

• Bus transportation to and from Sahlen Field, home of the Buffalo Bisons.

• Snacks and beverages are provided during the bus ride.

• A game ticket to see the Buffalo Bisons take on the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders.

• A voucher for one hot dog and one pop at the stadium.

• Full supervision by experienced Recreation Department staff throughout the trip.

  
  

The bus is scheduled to depart precisely at Noon from The REC on August 20th. The game is set to begin at 1:05 PM. While the department aims for a comprehensive game experience, the return to The REC is estimated around 4:30 PM. Parents should note that staff may not be able to stay for the entire duration of the game, and the return time could be earlier if the game concludes sooner than anticipated.

Any additional purchases, such as extra concessions or team merchandise, will be the child's responsibility.

This popular program offers a fantastic opportunity for North Tonawanda youth to enjoy professional baseball in a safe and supervised environment. Spaces are limited, so early registration is encouraged.
