North Tonawanda Public Library and Defensive Driver's Discount Partner to Offer NYS Dept. of Motor Vehicles Approved Defensive Driving Class

The North Tonawanda Public Library and Defensive Driver's Discount have joined forces to provide a New York State Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) approved 6-hour Defensive Driving Class. The course, which aims to enhance road safety and provide insurance benefits, will be held at the library on Saturday, September 6, from 9:30 am to 4 pm. Participants are encouraged to bring their lunch, as there will be a 30-minute lunch break during the class.

The cost of the class is $25.00, and all checks should be made payable to Wayne M. West. Registration can be completed at the library's Information Desk or by calling 716-693-4132, ext. 4.

Upon completion of the course, participants will receive a certificate of completion from the New York State Department of Motor Vehicles, which can be used to reduce their auto insurance premiums by up to 10% for three years. Additionally, the course may also help to reduce or waive specific traffic tickets and associated points.

The class will be taught by Wayne M. West, a certified instructor with Defensive Driver's Discount. Mr. West has extensive experience in teaching defensive driving techniques and is committed to helping participants become safer, more responsible drivers.
