North Tonawanda Gears Up for Vibrant 'Arts & Eats on Webster' Street Festival

NORTH TONAWANDA, NY – North Tonawanda is set to host a dazzling two-day celebration of culinary delights, artistic expression, and community spirit with the inaugural "Arts & Eats on Webster" street festival. Scheduled for August 16th and 17th, the event promises to transform Webster Street into a bustling hub of activity, offering something for every taste and age.

Taking place daily from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM on Webster Street between Sweeney and Goundry, the festival invites residents and visitors alike to savor the best of what Downtown North Tonawanda has to offer. The event is open to the public, welcoming everyone to join the festivities.

A highlight of "Arts & Eats on Webster" will be the $5 tasting menus curated by talented chefs from several local North Tonawanda restaurants, providing an affordable and delicious way to sample diverse flavors. Attendees can also enjoy custom craft cocktails expertly created for the event using spirits from Hartman's Distillery, adding a sophisticated touch to the culinary journey.

Beyond the "eats," the "arts" will be equally prominent. Shoppers can explore the unique offerings of the specialty shops and boutiques that line Webster Street, as well as discover treasures at the dedicated Arts & Eats Vendor Market. This market will showcase a diverse array of wares from talented makers and creators across Western New York, perfect for finding unique gifts or personal keepsakes.

The festival grounds will also feature a vibrant performance stage, hosting live music and diverse dance performances throughout the weekend, ensuring a lively atmosphere. Families will find plenty to enjoy, with various demo classes and interactive activities for children sprinkled throughout the event, promising fun for the younger attendees.

For those with a competitive spirit, the festival introduces a passport program. Participants can pick up a passport and collect stamps from participating restaurants and merchant shops. Completed passports will be entered into a drawing to win a coveted grand prize: a huge gift basket brimming with gift cards from local restaurants and merchants, encouraging exploration of North Tonawanda's thriving local businesses.

Adding to the excitement, "Arts & Eats on Webster" is strategically timed to coincide with the nearby Carnegie Art Spree, creating "one weekend, two amazing adjoining festivals" that promise an unparalleled cultural and community experience in North Tonawanda.

Organizers are eager to announce the full lineup of performers, restaurants, and vendors in the coming weeks, encouraging the public to stay tuned to the event's official pages for updates. For businesses interested in showcasing their products or contributing to the festival's success, sponsorship opportunities are available.
