North Tonawanda Football Hall of Fame to Induct New Class on September 5th; Community Invited to Ceremony and Celebration

NORTH TONAWANDA, NY – The North Tonawanda High School football community is gearing up for a special evening on Friday, September 5th, as the North Tonawanda Football Hall of Fame prepares to induct its latest class of honorees. Residents and fans are cordially invited to attend both the on-field induction ceremony and a subsequent celebration to honor this year's distinguished inductees.

The annual induction ceremony, steeped in tradition, will commence on the hallowed grounds of George J. Vetter Stadium. This initial event will provide a poignant opportunity for fans and former players to witness the formal induction of new members into the esteemed Hall of Fame, recognizing their contributions to the Lumberjack football legacy.

Immediately following the stadium event, the festivities will shift to the North Tonawanda Football Hall of Fame building on Goundry Street. This is where the wider community is invited to join in honoring the inductees in a more relaxed and celebratory setting.

Organizers emphasize that "everyone is welcome" to participate in both parts of the evening, encouraging residents to come out and show their support for the rich history of North Tonawanda football.

For those attending the celebration at the Hall of Fame on Goundry Street, there will be a charge of $10 per person, which includes a selection of beer and food. This provides an excellent opportunity to mingle with current and former players, share in the post-ceremony camaraderie, and honor the newest members of the North Tonawanda Football Hall of Fame.

Mark your calendars for Friday, September 5th, to be part of this special tribute to North Tonawanda's gridiron heroes and celebrate the enduring spirit of Lumberjack football.
