North Tonawanda Department of Youth Announces Free "Fridays This Summer" Program for Families

NORTH TONAWANDA, NY – The North Tonawanda Department of Youth is thrilled to announce the return of its popular "Fridays This Summer" (FFF) program, offering free, family-friendly recreational activities designed for community enjoyment throughout the summer months.
Beginning this summer, the "FFF" program invites families to gather each Friday for engaging activities led by the Department's dedicated Rec Staff. While parental participation is optional, the program fosters a fun and inclusive environment for all ages.
In addition to the free activities, the North Tonawanda Department of Youth will provide complimentary hot dogs or "Taco-in-a-Bag" along with a beverage. Food service will be available from 5 PM to 7 PM. While all are welcome to enjoy the food free of charge, a suggested donation of $3 per person is welcome. These optional donations will directly support the North Tonawanda Youth Board's vital initiatives, including programs such as Student Government Day and the annual Post Prom event.
The Summer 2025 FFF schedule already promises an exciting lineup of events. The first highlighted event is:
August 1st: WACKY WATER FUN Prepare to cool off and have a blast with a variety of fun, water-based games. Registration for games will begin at 5:00 PM, with contests starting at 5:30 PM and continuing throughout the evening. Families are welcome to show up at any time during the event to join in the fun.
The "Fridays This Summer" program aims to foster community spirit, provide accessible recreational opportunities, and offer a relaxed setting for families to create lasting summer memories.
