North Tonawanda Athletic Wall of Fame Announces Illustrious Class of 2025 Inductees

NORTH TONAWANDA, NY – The North Tonawanda City School District is proud to announce the distinguished Class of 2025 inductees for its Athletic Wall of Fame, a hallowed tradition honoring those who have significantly contributed to the school's storied athletic legacy.

The highly anticipated induction ceremony is scheduled for Saturday, November 1st, at 10:00 AM, in the elegant North Tonawanda Fine Arts Center. Doors will open at 9:00 AM, inviting attendees to enjoy complimentary refreshments, meet the incoming inductees, and explore the newly updated Wall of Fame hallway, showcasing the rich history of Lumberjack athletics.

The Athletic Wall of Fame stands as a testament to North Tonawanda's proud history in sports, dedicated to recognizing alumni, coaches, and vital contributors who, through individual prowess or collective effort, have promoted or enhanced the athletic programs within the district.

The esteemed North Tonawanda Wall of Fame Class of 2025 includes:

• 2009 Football State Championship Team: A monumental team that brought unparalleled glory to the district with their historic state title win.

• Greg Hastings (Class of 2019): An exceptional athlete known for his outstanding achievements and dedication during his time as a Lumberjack.

• Shelly (Lis) Hoerner (Class of 1992): Recognized for her significant impact and accomplishments across her athletic career at North Tonawanda.

• Michael Miranto (Class of 2001): Honored for his remarkable contributions and enduring influence on the school’s athletic programs.

• Casey (Green) Nelson (Class of 2007): Celebrated for her athletic excellence and the lasting mark she left on North Tonawanda sports.
