NORTH TONAWANDA, NY – Mayor Austin Tylec, alongside Democratic leaders and officials, hosted a vibrant "All-American Picnic" today at the Gratwick Fire Co., celebrating community spirit and recognizing exemplary local leaders and role models.
The festive gathering, held under bright skies, offered residents and officials an opportunity to connect, underscoring the importance of civic engagement and local leadership in North Tonawanda. A key highlight of the event was the Mayor's presentation of awards to several individuals who have made significant contributions to the community's betterment.

Kathy Carr of Matt's Music Center: Lauded for her contributions to the local arts and business community.
Mark Zelner: The former Superintendent of the Department of Public Works (DPW), acknowledged for his long-standing service and commitment to city infrastructure, and his welcoming of the Democratic Party.
