NORTH TONAWANDA, NY – The vibrant flavors, sounds, and traditions of Egypt are set to transform North Tonawanda this weekend as the Saint Mary & Saint Moses Coptic Orthodox Church hosts its 16th Annual Egyptian Festival. Running from Friday, August 22nd, through Sunday, August 24th, this popular community event promises a rich cultural experience for all ages with free admission.
Located at 350 Wheatfield Street, the festival is a beloved annual tradition offering an authentic glimpse into Middle Eastern culture. Attendees will have the opportunity to savor a delicious array of traditional Middle Eastern food and desserts, prepared by church members, renowned for their authentic taste.
Beyond the culinary delights, the festival will feature a diverse range of attractions. Visitors can explore a dedicated Church Exhibition, offering insights into Coptic Orthodox Christian heritage and history.
